Do you love swimming? Here is an event for you!
The South Island Secondary School Swimming Championship are being hosted in Dunedin for 2022 on the 18th – 19th June and is a great opportunity to get involved if you like swimming!
Please note as the champs are hosted in Dunedin there will be a cost for transport, accommodation food etc. along with the travel days of the 17th and 20th June due to the proposed schedule of events.
Covid Restrictions – This event can ONLY go ahead under an orange or green light setting, vaccine passports will be required for all those who attend.
There are various events at the Swim Champs with the purpose of the event to focus on providing a great opportunity for student who can swim to represent their school. With the Sport NZ focus on promoting sport opportunities for rangatahi this event has been developed to encourage swimming for your school, whether you are a typically a club swimmer or you can swim whist partaking in other sports. This approach aligns with Balance is Better.
