The Kaupapa Māori Pathway creates a space where our rangatahi can be engaged in Te Ao Māori every day, with a culture of high expectations where learners grow from their strengths to become the best versions of themselves.
Our goal is to provide a kaupapa Māori pathway so that our students learn and stand empowered as Māori. Ngā Here Kahikatea is a whānau core class, which has learners from each year level, taking in new Year 9s each year and sometimes some older students. An interview process helps determine new students and their commitment to kaupapa Māori.
We have options for subject choices in Years 11, 12 and 13, and it can also be a mentor class for interested students.
