At Greymouth High School, our students have the exciting opportunity to be part of the West Coast Trades Academy (WCTA). The Trades Academy brings together all West Coast secondary schools in partnership with various tertiary education providers across our region and the South Island.
The Trades Academy gives our senior students (Years 11–13) the chance to combine school studies with high-quality trades and technology training. This means you can start working towards a career pathway while still enjoying everything that comes with being a Greymouth High School student.
The Trades Academy is open to Year 11–13 students. You need to fill in an expression of interest online to be considered for a Trades Academy course. Click below to complete your expression of interest.
